Product Info for Metolius Ultralight Master Cam

Metolius has redesigned its Ultralight Master rock climbing cams to be new and improved. These cams are 40% lighter than most rock climbing cams, and their lobes use stops for extra security in cracks. Color-coded by size, trigger, thumb, and webbing, they are easy to find on your rack; the lobes also have Range Finders with green-to-red dots along the sides that assist your placements. These Camming Devices are a must-have for all rock climbers.image

Features of Metolius Ultralight Master Cam:

  • Redesigned to be 40% lighter per set than conventional cams;
  • Color-coded trigger assembly, thumb piece and webbing;
  • 11 mm (0.43) Monster Sling webbing
  • CNC machined cam lobes and stops for much greater precision than stamped or extruded cams;
  • CE/UIAA certified

The older Metolius dual-stem cam ("Power Cam") has long been one of my favorites - especially the TCU. They're very light, durable, sanely priced - to facilitate buying duplicates and, they're easy to operate with gloves as I can quickly get my thumb on the trigger.
