I pulled these shoes from the box and laced them up. I go to tighten the laces and the lace hole on the left shoe rips and the lace pulls right through.
WHAT?! This shoe rips on the very first pull of the lace. What a piece of junk.
Do not buy Montrail junk.
Started using the shoe while living in Boston. Made for a shoe that would easily transition to hitting pavement downtown and happily tear into trail in the fens/Jamaica Plain. First 120 miles fluid post works well and almost has a support that conforms to its user with nice cushioning. Beyond that time, it has become mostly a cushioned shoe that I wear to play with my son.
