Nice thin material and insulation. This would make a great liner under a shell it it wasn't so long in the torso and baggy. If you have a huge beer belly, you will still have room. Come on Mountain Hardwear, why the way baggy cuts? Campsaver had a great deal on the jacket, but the poor fit ultimately caused me to return it.
This jacket is simply amazing. The price was too good to beat. The jacket fits perfectly. Sleeves are great length! Love the quality of MH and the service of Campsaver!!! Recommended the site to 5 close friends and some family!
I bought this jacket as an extra warmth layer for skiing and general mountaineering. The cut is snug, so it will keep you warm and not balloon out much bodyheat. The hood fits nicely and allows good visibilty. I haven't tried it with a helment.

I just had a gentleman in my office try on a helmet and this jacket and it fit underneath the hood just fine, as for the pocket it does not stuff into its own pocket. It does not come with a stuff sack, but it stuffs down fairly small and you could find a stuff sack that it could stuff into. Thanks.
