I bought this tent for winter camping. It definitely is warmer than my mesh summer/spring/fall tent. However, it's not easy to set up. And it's heavy. The warmth and protection it provides is worth it, however, it's too heavy for anything besides car camping. And I can't imagine it getting set up quickly, even after months of use. Fast delivery to Canada. Sleeping two inside doesn't seem like it would be any issue. Tent seems bombproof. Looking forward to putting it to the test

I have only used this tent twice since buying it. Unfortunately not in snow but in some nasty storms. I just got back from Assateague Island National Seashore where we had hail, torrential downpours, and 40 mph winds. Bomber winter tent in winds. However poor air flow, builds condensation quickly. Heavy, you want to split this between three people or pull in a sled. I used this on Mt. Rainier in June and would go light in the tent next time. Use for deep winter or expedition in my opinion.

The Trango 2 is incredibly thoughtfully designed and full of detail. For example, I planned to get a gear loft for the tent, but it has so many mesh pockets on the inside, it is not needed. Thoughtfully the pockets, unlike any other tent I have ever used, has the pockets raised well above the floor to keep things out of the way, accessible and dry. The tent has a huge and sturd...
