This tent is the perfect compromise for me. I have been looking for a lightweight but roomy tent that has stability . It held up beautifully in high winds up Lead Basin last week. I hiked the AT in 2010. In retrospect, the MSR Hubba is the tent I would go with if I had it to do all over again. I previously used an 8oz poncho tent with 6oz mosquito net during hot weather and a hammock tent during the cooler weather. I've used this tent on many backpacking trips including 7-day, 80 miler in the backcountry in Escalante National Park, 7-days, 70 miler in the Weminuche Wilderness Area, and most recently on a 7-day, 65 miler backpacking trip in Canyonlands Maze District. This is one of the best tents there is out there in the market. If you are choosing between this and the Copper Spur UL1 then please choose this one ! I have no regrest compact nice.. the colors are amazing overall a nice tent
