Hiker/Backpacker

This tent is the perfect compromise for me. I have been looking for a lightweight but roomy tent that has stability . It held up beautifully in high winds up Lead Basin last week. I previously had an ultralight 2 person tent but it was not truly free standing and was flopping around in the wind. Most ultralight tents taper down at the bottom. I love the consistent height throughout the MSR Hubba and the free standing stability.
Pros:
  • Sturdier than ultrlight tents
Cons:
  • A bit heavier
Best Used for:
  • Solo backpacking in weather

Friend told me about this tent-said it was the easiest fastest set up. Got the tent, set it up in my bedroom in way under 5 minutes.

Really NICE!!!

This is one of the best tents there is out there in the market. If you are choosing between this and the Copper Spur UL1 then please choose this one ! I have no regrest compact nice.. the colors are amazing overall a nice tent

Hubba tent -msr 3 season

Great tent with quick set up and sturdy construction. Green color is great for pop camping in isolated spots. Only concern is the plastic fastener on poles. I will be surprised if the fastener lasts beyond a couple of years.
