I've only uses this a few times for day hikes and trail runs so far but I really like it. It is easy to operate and fills my water bottles faster than I expected. It's fairly small and fits well in a small pack. I stash it in a zip-lock to keep the hose from snaking around in my pack. I'll be using it for a longer backpacking trip soon and I'm looking forward to it.

This tiny filter works great. It easily fills a water bottle in a minute or you can just drink directly from the top. Water is pumped thru the filter by squeezing the soft side of the container below the mouth piece. The only reason this gets four stars instead of five is because MSR says never allow the filter to freeze because it will destroy the filter fibers. As I am a cold...

I've had this filter for a few years now and it has survived admirably a dozen or so weekend backpacking trips and countless day hikes. The size and weight are great. It fits nicely in the belt pocket of my backpack, which I've discovered I love as it means I don't have to take off my pack to fill up my bottle on the trail. My first backpacking trip with it, despite others havi...

I have chosen this filter by watching different reviews and its design really ideal for hiking. Easy to make enough water for family. And impressive lifetime (2000L). Lightweight and easy to use. Good price on campsaver!

This is a great personal water filtration system. Wouldn't use this for more than 2-3 people. Didn't have the problems with suction that some report. If you pre-fill it ALL THE WAY up with water before use, it works AMAZINGLY.
