The Nalgene Encapsul Bladder is produced using only "saturated" polymers. It's high strength is created by blending high-modulus stiff material with low-modulus elastic material to create an energy absorbing strength. Super clean polyethylene encapsulates a flexible core of TPE. Rapid fill cap has 63mm opening.

Initially the bladder was okay; however, on the 4th use, the hard plastic where the hose enters the bladder cracked, causing it to leak. I looked on Nalgene website and found no information re: guarantees or how to send back. Anyway, found an address to send it to and did so. After a couple of weeks, I called Nalgene Customer Service. This particular Nalgene bladder (or its predecessor) came with the North Face hydration backpack I'd bought for mountain biking. This Nalgene Encapsul Bladder is poorly made using cheap materials. The bite valve is hard to dry out and keep clean. When you first get it you want to disassemble the bite valve since there is grease from the manufacture left in there. I assume the grease is to make assembly easier.
