Product Info for NEMO Equipment Meta 1 Tent - 1 Person, 3 Season
NEMO Equipment's Meta 1 Shelter has 25.5 sq ft of interior space combined with a 13 sq ft vestibule and weighs only 1.9 lbs. Both tents uphold the NEMO Equipment standard for comfort and usability, with tall peak heights, generous overall length and multiple well-placed vents. The Meta 1 sets up easily with one trekking pole (not included). Each tent includes a watertight stuff sack, DAC V stakes, and repair kit. Optional Footprints are available.

This is a great tent. So easy to setup at the end of a hard day and heaps of room. I'm a big bloke and I can fit in it with all my gear inc pack and boots. I keep it in the front pocket of my pack and just stuff it in there, so easy. Once you workout how to set it up right it's great(must keep the triangle shape tight to reduce sagging). Just spent a week with this tent in The Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana. The tent preformed perfect. It held off the bad rainstorm. I am just not happy with the funky way it looks all guyed out and having the fabric right down in your face every morning. I bought this tent off a forum as I was looking for a 1P tent. I love to backpack looking for native brook trout streams. I have spent many 2,3 and even 4 nights in this tent. I just used the Meta 1P this past weekend when I hiked in to a camp next to a creek in a narrow canyon. Overnight temperatures were in the low 50s but I also had very strong winds rushing through the canyon several times per hour. I estimate that the 15-20 second gusts were about 40 mph. I have recently begun a migration to Ultralight gear. This tent was a critical piece of that. You will be hard pressed to find a tent with this kind of space at 2lbs.
