The parts in this kit match the SVEA 123 (R) stove - not the 123... so be sure to know what you have... The valve position on the 123 (R) is horizontal and is larger than the 123 - which is smaller and angles down.

Got my SVEA 123R running perfect. Very happy. Hardest part was setting the cleaning needle, directions were ok but you can find videos online to help with that.

Not much to say about this product. Just a simple repair kit for my old optimus stove. I was just glad to find them still available. Everything was as described and worked great. The 70's & earlier Sveas did not have a "self-cleaning" needle on the burner, like the newer ones do (as pictured in the parts kit photo). They were cleaned with small external wires on a thin piece of aluminum. Unfortunately, Optimus no longer stocks that part. However!
