Large flat base made for quick heating. My JetBoil really only works well with the provided cups, so I held it over the flame and it worked fine. A raccoon tried to steal it one night, but I was nude at the moment and didnt want to fight said raccoon. He didnt make it far though and dropped it about 10ft into the woods. I got it back in the morning. Great Kettle.

I'm a litle teapot, short and stout!

I purchased this little kettle to use backpacking and walk-in camping. So I could leave the heavier gear for short walk and car camping. Tested it at the house, and I was impressed with the construction and stability of the unit. I had purchase a similar one for my grandson for his birthday last year.

Q Has anyone used this with a MSR pocket rocket? Just wondering if it fits on top and how long it would take to heat the water?

Yes as long as it is on a stable flat surface it should be fine on the pocket rocket.

Q Will a 100 gram or 230 gram fuel container fit inside the kettle with the lid on the kettle?

Q Will it fit inside a Trangia-27?

Based on the dimensions of the product, it should be able to fit inside any of the Tragia 27 series stove sets. You may need to take some of the items out of the 27 Series to make the kettle fit.
