As the largest pack in the Escapist series, the Osprey Escapist 30 maximizes carrying capacity for day long bike adventures and overnight hut to hut bike packing trips. Comfort features include a Bio-Stretch ventilated harness, mesh hipbelt with ErgoPull closure and an AirScape ventilated backpanel. Internal organizer pockets for bike specific tools, a LidLock helmet attachment, blinker light attachment and reflective detailing round out the Escapist's bicycling oriented features. An internal zipped divider and bottom zip entry make access and organization very convenient.

Just about the perfect day pack

I have searched for ever for the "perfect day pack. This is about as close as I think you can get. Osprey markets this for mountain bikers. Don't let that stop you from buying this pack. Osprey escapist 30 pack

First off I love Osprey packs, they are well made, I like the way it feels on my back, gobbles up stuff like no others, the zippers are taunt, but over time I'm sure they will zip smoother, this pack is good for biking and day hiking, better than Camelbaks, I do use a Camelbak bladder with it. Buy this pack and enjoy your active life

Perfect pack for biking! I

Perfect pack for biking! I bike to work and I needed a pack that could hold a change of clothes, lunch, my bike lock, and whatever else I would need. It easily holds it all, and the compartments are the right size. The straps are easily adjusted, I haven't used the rain cover but it is pretty awesome that it comes with one. Overall, I am extremely satisfied.

the extra bottom compartment, "lid-lock", built-in rain cover, and room for a hydration bladder make this pack perfect for bike trips. feels high quality and very secure with the hip and chest straps.

Great "soft" pack

I own four different five different Osprey Packs, ranging from a large back pack to day packs. Not my favorite Osprey, but it's the best soft pack (no frame) that I've seen. Great features. I use it for packing around in Disneyland. Totally recommended. No other soft pack (think book pack) measures up to this one.
