Bought the vest when it was on sale earlier this autumn. It came in handy when the cooler to cold weather came in.
The men's XL vest fits true to size and is lightweight.

I bought this vest to gear up for the summer backpacking season. I haven't field tested it yet.
It appears well-made. It has decent loft and there're no feathers sticking out. It has two pockets on the outside and one on the inside-left that it can indeed stuff into. There is one cincher on the inside right to tighten around the waist. Zippers are YKK and have rubbery pull tab... Read more

This was my first purchase of a patagonia product andit won't bemy last. Thisisa greatlooking vest that fits my slim midsection and broad shoulders very well. the color is fantastic and the puffy neck keeps me warm on those cool days out.

I would get the small if you want a more fitted (trim) version, something you would just wear with a t-shirt. If you want to wear anything warmer underneath it like a midlayer or sweatshirt I would get a Medium. It just all depends on what you want. I tend to steer towards bigger sizes so I can layer underneath. Thanks
