This parka is what I've been looking for! I have yet to test it in truly cold weather as it's summer in AK right now, so it's not getting below 40- maybe It is with wind, but this is my go to for a lightweight packable item just in case the weather turns sour. Purchased both to compare for trip to Sapporo in Feb. Both 800 down jackets are built for the cold. They’re big and fluffy. The RAB is longer in the back and covers more of my butt (good for sitting on cold surfaces) and has a warm fleece type material on the front of the neck.
