Bought this on a recommendation. On my last ice-climbing expedition climbers who had reached the summit of Denali were wearing it and praised it.

Very lightweight and warm. Definitely need a shell below 30 degrees. Very versatile, otherwise. Highly recommend. I'm 6'2" and 170lbs and the large fits my height well but is a little loose at the waist.

This hoody delivers as promised - lives up to the hype. Used first on snowshoe hike with single capilene 3 layer under. Temp was in the 40s on an overcast day. Zipped down a bit to dump heat, but never felt sweaty. Even better, at rest stops I did not feel the need to add another layer. Probably would have if we stayed more than 30 minutes or so.

incredible jacket. Great fit. Sheds water. Warm, but sheds excess heat. Looks good. Can wear under harness on multi-pitch. Can wear on a light snow day. Can wear in the city. I love it.
