Brilliant light, warm, comfortable jacket

Bought this on a recommendation. On my last ice-climbing expedition climbers who had reached the summit of Denali were wearing it and praised it.

Pleased I bought one as well. Its like a fleece but lighter and less bulky. It is like a down jacket but with the advantage it won't lose its warmth when wet. I am wearing it as a primary layer for ice climbing. The tight fitting hood fits under my helmet and it is water repellent enough to wear without a hard shell, unless the weather turns torrential.

It is supersoft and works well as a casual jacket to wear with jeans when back from the mountains.

Brilliant, but missing a few features I'd like to see.

This jacket is soft, fits well and certainly keeps you warm. I've worn it out when its been trickling outside and stayed dry. The hood is especially nice because it hugs to your face and really helps keep the wind out. It looks kinda funny with the hood on, but who cares when you're toasty and everyone else is freezing. I would however add a couple of things. 1. an internal pocket/stuff sack for storage. and 2 a compartment to squish the hoodie into, to make it a collared jacket. I've also see similar jackets where the collar is separate from the hood, and the hood rolls into a zippered compartment around the collar, that would be nice. But as far as the quality of the materials made, it's great. Very soft as previous people have said, and quite warm.

Great for Fly-Fishing And Anything Aerobic

My second Nano-Air hoody......bought the Buffalo Green for the more muted colors ideal for fly-fishing. Does not restrict movement, sheds rain etc, warmth without weight and breathes so you don't sweat up a storm like you do with down jackets. Have hiked, gone running, ambled to the pub and is my daily "go to" because of the hood. Cut of large is not too slim fitting (6ft 190lbs) - I'd prefer it to fit a bit tighter but in the real world its more practical with the space and I can layer up on really cold days.

Great jacket! It weighs nothing

Great jacket! It weighs nothing and keeps me warm, but not too warm. I wear it if the temperature is below 40, and I've never been cold. I've worn it when the wind chill is 0, and it's been good.

The best mid weight layer jacket I've ever worn. Extremely warm for how light it is. The hood even stretches over a helmet.love the extra pockets on the chest.

Wrong jacket was sent, unfortunately. But the feel of the jacket - assuming the same material is used on both (which, I am sure, is the case).
