Product Info for Patagonia Nano Puff Hoody - Mens

Patagonia's Nano Puff Hoody's weather-resistant enough to wear as an insulated jacket in a wet snowstorm, trim enough to pull on for chilly rock pitches (and still see your footholds), and warm enough for light belay parka duty on quick alpine dashes - or for climbing through the night when the dash isn't so quick. The elasticized hood opening snugs over low-volume helmets or under any helmet, adding thermostat-like warmth. The wind-blocking, moisture-shedding 100% recycled polyester shell glides effortlessly in your layering system, and low-bulk, hydrophobic, highly compressible PrimaLoft One (60-g) traps heat with remarkable efficiency - even when wet. It packs down to practically nothing and stuffs into an internal zippered chest pocket that has a carabiner clip-in loop. It also has two zippered handwarmer pockets, elasticized cuffs and a dual-adjust drawcord hem to seal out wind and seal in warmth. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.image

Features of Patagonia Nano Puff Hoody:

  • Lightweight ripstop recycled polyester shell fabric has a Deluge DWR finish
  • Lightweight 60-g PrimaLoft One insulation provides excellent warmth and compressibility
  • Brick quilting pattern with horizontal quilt lines on side panels uses durable thread for improved abrasion-resistance
  • Center-front zipper has wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage at chin for next-to-skin comfort
  • Under-the-helmet hood construction is light and simple
  • Drawcord-adjustable drop-tail hem seals out wind

Only worn it a couple of times, but kept me plenty warm walking on level ground for about a half hour in 40 degree weather. Medium is a great fit for me at 5'9" and 140 lbs.

It's easily packable. At 5'11" and 190lbs, the large fits perfectly. The hood fits closely to the head which looks funny but is very warm. The Buffalo Green color is a natural color and should stand the test of time.

I recently purchased a Puff to replace one that i have abused for the last three years. I bought the same size as previous and found the waist cut to be more fitted (slimmer) than my first one. Just an FYI when purchasing. This is a versatile piece of equipment that i use for hiking, skiing, backpacking...My old one is now my "beater" coat for working around the house. Highly r...

I've tried this jacket several times in various colors over the last 2 or 3 years...I could never get over the "quilted" look. Each time I ordered this hoody, I ended up returning it by finding some reason it didn't work for me, but finally, in my old age, I've gained wisdom. Forget the appearance! The coat fits well (one of the few hoodys that actually fits your head), and it ...

perfect for driving with the windows down total wind stopper, and the hood when up allows a great range for your peripheral vision so light weight you forget your wearing it. A little tight in the shoulders but all together a great purchase

I had one of these jackets for 2 years before I lost it, long story. I had been looking for a new one and these guys had a good price on the size and color I was looking for. I love this jacket as a layering piece. It's saved my ass a few times, motorcycling, canoeing and camping. Down is nice and light but I need rugged and dependable. This jacket is a must have when it gets c...
