This version has differential baffles, which help the fit over the previous style. Also, this yellow color is slightly translucent-which is cool, but some may not like being able to see a bit of the feathers. The hood is a bonus, pockets are functional. I'm 5'8" and muscular, not fat. The med was too tight in the hips, too big and poof in the stomach area, noisy material, expensive and really hard to fit in the stuff pocket. Returned. I'm going to stick with my mtn hardware ghost whisperer (also tight in the hips but lighter and better overall).

I felt this jacket was a stand alone system due to then length.
I wanted this jacket to be a layer underneath my shell, but the length was more of a pea coat so I went another route.
I do worry about the warmth of the down once wet, but never got to test it out.

Not my preference for color but I wasn't buying for fashion... the price was right so I bought it. The size XL fit is good with room for layering, 6-1 / 220. I bought this sight unseen, having never tried one on in a store prior to purchase. I read the reviews and most were positive.
