Perfect weight for backpacking Mt. Shasta summit, too warm for everyday San Francisco weather, but great to walk the dog on foggy windy nights. Nice flattering shape- medium fits over my ~ 38 hips. I love my new jacket.
This jacket is light and compact, it fits into its own little pouch that comes with the jacket. It is excellent to travel with since it's light and doesn't take up any room at all in your luggage. I bought it to wear to the Super Bowl in New York/New Jersey and it worked so well in the snow, rain and cold.
We do our research before buying gear, so we go by the "by it once" approach. This jacket is light and warm; throwing in stylish is just a bonus. We plan on this jacket being the layer to put on, over or under, to provide the warmth to get another lap on the slopes, resort or backcountry.
