I hadn't heard of peregrine until I saw this tent on display at a local climbing store. I've had Eureka, REI, and Marmot three man tents in the past and so far peregrine takes the cake. Q Are there storm/privacy flaps for the windows in the doors, or is it necessary to close the vestibule for privacy?

The top half of the tent door is screen. You'll need to close the vestibule for complete privacy

Q Are the seams factory sealed and taped, or will seam sealing be necessary? Can the tent be pitched in "fast flight" mode, then the inner tent set up from the inside ("dry pitch")?

Thanks for your question! The Tent does have a fast pitch option (allowing you to use poles, foot print, and fly to shave 36% of the weight!). The seams don't appear to be factory seam sealed, however, the fly is 100% waterproof as is the floor of the tent.
