The Petzl EVOLV ADJUST is a smooth-feeding, dual-arm adjustable daisy for aid climbing. The Adjust ascenders allow the user to quickly and easily find the ideal length, and one-handed adjustment eliminates fiddling and saves time, especially on steep and overhanging walls. The slightly dynamic, climbing rope-style cord is a safer alternative to static dyneema-type slings or daisies.
Features of Petzl Evolv Adjust:
Adjustable from 5.9 to 59 in
Positioning device with two adjustable arms, ideal for aid climbing
The ADJUST ascenders have an ergonomic shape that offers quick, precise adjustment
Arms adjust from 15 to 150 cm
The connector is held in position by a rubber ring to facilitate clipping
Used with two locking carabiners of the SPIRIT SCREW-LOCK type (sold separately)
Attaches to the tie-in point(s) of the harness with a girth hitch.
Dynamic rope positioning device to reduce the force transmitted to the user in case of a short fall (For use below the anchor point only: the positioning device does not have an energy absorber. This positioning device must only be used when the potential fall factor is less than 1.)
Carabiners not included
The EVOLV ADJUST is not personal protective equipment.
The EVOLV ADJUST is an adjustable positioning device for use in aid climbing.
The static strength of the EVOLV ADJUST is less than 15 kN, the minimum strength required for all textile PPE, so it does not qualify for CE certification.
Thus the EVOLV ADJUST must not be used alone, without any other means of protection.

The prodtuc is great but keep in mind that it's not for sport climbing since the rope is too long, also de mechanism is kinda hard to elongate under pressure or while in load.
I have been informed that its best use is for aid climbing.

The petzl evolv adjust gives you the ability to quickly and safely anchor AND adjust your position with the variable lengths. This is soooooo helpful in multi pitch when you need to slide left or right simply by extending one of the anchor lengths. There is an excess of rope but i was able to manage it with a loose fisherman’s knot.

I am using Connect Adjust Lanyard with Petzl.
However, it is inconvenient because the line is short and double can not be secured.
Especially when you are climbing artificially, you need another secure line and bought Evolv Adjust.
Evolv Adjust is satisfactory because it has a long line and a double line than Connect Adjust Lanyard.
Best Used for:
Multi-pitch, artificial climb
