Great rope for alpine

Great, smooth handling rope. Doesn't get too tangled. Thin but not too thin, though I wouldn't want to take it climbing if you plan to hang on it a lot. Since it is thin it gets pretty tight if you fall on it. Was hesitant about the color but find it quite nice. Wish it was a bit less spendy but it is a good quality rope.

Petzl makes sleek climbing ropes that are extremely reliable and the Volta is no exception. Don't love the 9.2mm diameter for half and twin applications (prefer ropes < 9.0) but appreciate the versatility in a pinch.
