The Twilight Bivy is made with water-resistant and breathable NanoShield fabric. Black Diamond suggests that you use seam sealer on the bivy to make it completely waterproof.
As far any other lightweight and extremely waterproof bivy's, I would suggest the Alpine Bivy from Outdoor Research. You can find it on our site here:
