I found the Twilight Bivy to be waterproof but far from breathable during summer nights. Maybe it would be better off as a purely cold weather use piece of gear.

A good bivy sack is essential camping gear, whether for short trips or extended outings. Should the weather turn for the worse, one's survival may depend on it.
