The Solid Fuel Tablets from Bleuet will leave a black carbon residue on pots after cooking over the tablets. However, the residue washes right off with water.

Both Wetfire and Bleuet solid fuel tablets - like most other solid fuel tables - are made of hexamine, and all such tablets leave a sticky, dark residue on the bottom of pots.
