If you take out the potholder in the set, when stacked, could you fit a small mug in the center of the stack with the burner? A mug is the only thing this set seems to be lacking. How much room is in the center, could you also add a folded spork or other utensil with the mug added? Thanks — 1 Answer

Yes, but only of the mug is is no taller than 2 5/8 inches and diameter exceeds 2 5/8 inches (diameter of the burner). The inner pot is 6.5 inches across, so depending on the mug, you could definitely fit a folding utensil.
