There is no difference. This is the pocket stove. It includes fuel in this package. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Can I use my primus omni-fuel stove with this pot?

You could us your Primus Omni-Fuel stove with the Esbit Cookset Pot pretty easily, but the Esbit Cookset was designed for the Esbit Stove, and therefore is more efficient when used as it was designed.

Can this be used with cooking (gel) fuel cans?

It would depend on the height of the gel fuel can. If the gel fuel can is able to fit inside the pot stand, then yes you could use it.
