Active Ingredient is Picaridin. No insect repellent should be used on infants younger than 2 months. I can't give you an exact yes or no answer as far as if it's safe for children but I can point you in the right direction, I would either ask your child's physician or look for further information at www.cdc.gov

The active ingredient in Natrapel 8 Hour Spray Insect Repellent is 20% picaridin. Picaridin causes skin irritation in some individuals; however, there is no evidence that children are especially sensitive to picaridin. It is safe for children as directed. Picaridin has only been on the market since 2001 so their is not the amount of data available with others such as DEET it has shown to cause much less irritation. No insect repellent should be used on infants younger than 2 months.
