What is the weight this slack line can hold?

A
Answered by Evan, member, from UT, United States, on March 21, 2013

After talking on the phone with Micky at Gibbon, he told me that once the line is tensioned, it should hold 1000 pounds easily. The lines can be tensioned to 4000 pounds and then people can walk on them. So unless you are planning on something other than people on the line, you should be fine whatever you are doing.

Maximum tension is 4 tons, although it's not likely you'll reach that point while ratcheting.
