I ordered this and noticed Granite Gear put a hole on one end of the pack cover. Does anyone know what this is used for? It seems odd given how you don't want holes in a pack cover which might let in water. — 1 Answer

The only hole in it would be where the bungee cord comes out and goes into the pop lock. This should be obvious to the user, unless one slipped off the production line without the bungee cord installed, or the pop lock somehow came off and the bungee cord retracted through the hole in the hypalon grommet. If you believe your pack fly is defective please give us a call.
