Following the measurement charts recommended by Kelty - I am right on the border between the two at 19". With a waist of 34" I am thinking go M/L but I just don't want pack to be too large. Recommendation? — 2 Answers

We would recommend the M/L as it has a torso range of 17.5 - 21 in / 44 - 53 cm.

I think this bag is fit for you because the volume is 4000 in3/67l. Both the width and the length is not too wide and long.
