I have Leki Thermolite Aergon AL AS trekking poles. How do I measure the size 16 or 18mm?

Use 18 mm for the upper joint and the 16 mm for the lower joint.

Packaging on the 16mm suggests that they fit all upper sections on Leki Ultralite Poles and all middle sections on Moutain Trek and Travel poles. Packaging on the 18mm suggests that it will fit upper sections on all models except the Ultralite Poles.
