We just purchased this tent from Campsaver. The clips that hold the fly at the corners with the poles are tricky. When taking the tent down, how do you disconnect the fly clips without the poles popping out of the clips? — 1 Answer

I asked the Mountain Hardwear representative for some insight on this. The following is his response:

"It probably has to do with the Dry Pitch clip aka the Jake's Foot on each corner of the tent. I think that once the tent is used a little more and they get use to the clip they won't have an issue with it. The 'Jake's Foot' allows each element of the tent to be un-clipped at any time. What is probably happening is that some elements of the tent (the poles) are coming unclipped when they just want to take the fly off. Again, once they get use to this clip they should be fine."
