I am returning this tent. Upon receiving i noticed two things I did not like. The poles use snap in ball joints to mate to the tent. I prefer the old style grommets. Also, the fly is incredibly thin and did not make me feel comfortable that it would last. The tent is light weight for its size, but unfortunately the trade off is a bit much for me. Q We just purchased this tent from Campsaver. The clips that hold the fly at the corners with the poles are tricky. When taking the tent down, how do you disconnect the fly clips without the poles popping out of the clips?

I asked the Mountain Hardwear representative for some insight on this. The following is his response:

"It probably has to do with the Dry Pitch clip aka the Jake's Foot on each corner of the tent. I think that once the tent is used a little more and they get use to the clip they won't have an issue with it. The 'Jake's Foot' allows each element ... Read More
