By carry bag I'm assuming you mean carry on size for an airplane. Yes, it can be used that way if you pack it correctly.

The volume is about 50 L or 3000 cu in as you can see in the title. I'm guessing you're more concerned with the torso size. The torso comes in small, medium and large sizes and there is a link to the Osprey sizing chart about halfway down the page on the right. That will help you find the torso size that will fit you. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
