Just wanted to know how this packs harness breathability performs with a full load in the heat? I'm having trouble decide between this and the Lowe Alpine Airzone Quest 27. Also, can anyone tell me how this pack feels with a 100oz water bladder in place? — 1 Answer

The Kestrel will be very similar to the Lowe Alpine Airzone packs. Neither will give you amazing breathability when weighed down in the heat, but compared to some traditional packs, the Kestrel will be much better.

I can't speak from experience with the 100 oz water bladder, but they are designed to not make a difference in how it feels on your back. Osprey packs are very well thought out and I imagine they have thought this though as well. We have a 60 day no hassle return policy so if you try it out and don't like the feel, you can return it for a full refund.
