I would like to wear these with my telemark ski boots. Will these fit over my boots. The circumference of the boot is appprox. 16.5"-17" around the ankles including buckles. Please advise. s,M,L Kristin

Please refer to Outdoor Research webpage on sizing, they size them due to your shoe size. I am not sure how they would do around a telemark boot. Thanks

"In the Verglas Gaiters the circumference around the top is 22 1/4''." What size gaiter was this for? It seems rather large.

Flat measured on a women's Large is 9 inches on the top, so it would be 18 inches for the entire gaiter. Thanks

The OR sizing chart on your website only addresses clothing and does not include a sizing chart that applies to these gaiters. How do I figure out what size gaiter to order if there isn't a shoe-to-gaiter size equivalency chart?

I have never used Gaiters before but need them for a hiking trip to Iceland. Are these suitable and how do you choose the size? From shoe size or calf size or lower leg length? Thank you Andrea

This would be a great gaiter for you! A lot of people measure by shoe size, or lower leg length. I went and flat-measured the circumference of each size (where the calf would be)of the OR Verglas Gaiter and in total a Women's Small is 14 in, Medium is 16 in, and Large is 18 in. The Length of the gaiter is Small 13.5 in, Medium 14.5 in, and Large is 15.5 In long.
