I have never used Gaiters before but need them for a hiking trip to Iceland. Are these suitable and how do you choose the size? From shoe size or calf size or lower leg length? Thank you Andrea — 1 Answer

This would be a great gaiter for you! A lot of people measure by shoe size, or lower leg length. I went and flat-measured the circumference of each size (where the calf would be)of the OR Verglas Gaiter and in total a Women's Small is 14 in, Medium is 16 in, and Large is 18 in. The Length of the gaiter is Small 13.5 in, Medium 14.5 in, and Large is 15.5 In long.
