Does it only take Primus Gas cylinders?

Nope. Any normal threaded 1 lb cylinders will work. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Does this come with the removable BBQ grill burner with stainless steel drip tray like I've seen on other sites?

no this stove is just the two burners. We do carry the stove you are referring to it is called the Primus Profile Dual Stove, item # pri0123
