Great Question. Rab does not put an actual temperature rating on this jacket. However, knowing the construction and from personal use, I consider this a jacket something i'd where above 35 F. It's not a heavy winter coat which makes it a very versatile jacket that can be used much more. It's light and packable and also works well as a layer. Great for fall, spring and winters where it's more moderate or when the temperatures are above freezing. It's fall here in Utah as I write this and between 35F in the morning and 60F degrees in the afternoon and i'm wearing this everyday. Also great for backpacking because it packs down small. I love it....
