I m going back and forth between the Alp Trainer and the Mountain Trainer. I will be moving up to 40 miles a day with loads of up to 60 lbs and need to move fast over varied terrain. Which do you recommend? Also, where can I find the correct sizing chart to know which to order? Thanks a lot. — 8 Answers

The Alp Trainer Mid GTX is more lightweight and flexible than the Mountain Trainer. It incorporates features similar to approach shoes. The Mountain Trainer is stiffer and has a PU shock absorber in the midsole which improves comfort over long distances. The mountain trainer is built for heavier loads and longer distances.
