Boot boots

Great fitting boots. I plan on using these for mostly hiking in moderate terrain, with a lighter pack. Haven’t tested them with a pack yet, but no hot spots while walking around. They fit half a size bigger.

I had never heard of Salewa before looking on CAMPSAVER. After reviewing their website I realized these guys are the real deal! These boots are light weight, but very supportive. After a short hike with about 30 lbs. in my pack I was amazed at the sure footedness of the boot on rock outcroppings and loss shale. No break-in required these dogs are ready to go out of the box! Very comfortable!

Nice boots

I went on a short 8 mile hike the day I got them with no blisters. The next weekend I climbed mt St Helen no problem would buy them again

Great Boots

I've been through a ton of boots trying to find one that is comfortable and I believe this one is it. My only complaints are that rocks get into the boots easily when wearing shorts and that Salewa has discontinued this model.

Alp Trainer Mid GTX

I took these boots out of the box and have worn them all day, everyday for the last three weeks. The fit is awesome but the insole is not soft. These are very durable. From the first day they have been in swamp like conditions for the first couple of weeks, several hours a day everyday, and my feet stayed dry. These boots are meant to be worn. These boots are the only shoes I've had on since they've came in . I will buy these again and it will be from CampSaver.

Just Right

After researching countless hiking boots, I settled on these Salewas. I was worried when I first got them, because they did feel narrow like many have reported, but after wearing them around for a couple days, they really expanded and got comfortable. I felt like they were true to size. After taking them on some short hikes, I realized that I made the right choice, and I am looking forward to using them this summer out west.

These boots will be great for hiking. Rec'd them for Christmas and have only worn them one time so far; but I expect to get a lot of wear out of them.

Great Boot

I've been wearing these boots while training for several planned mountain hunting trips. I've got about 55 miles wearing these over uneven terrain, wet and slippery conditions. They have handled everything VERY well. Only down side is the flimsy cheap laces that come on the boots. I've replaced them with para cord already as I don't want them to break during my training hikes when several miles
