Both shoes are similar in regards to height and length. The Rapace is a more technical mountaineering boot perfect for mountain guides and rescue groups. It will be stiffer than the Mountain Mid. The Mountain Trainer is built to be more comfortable than the Rapace. It has more comfort in the ankle area and a PU shock absorber in the midsole for comfort over long distances.
