The foot girth is 54 inches, so actual width will be close to 27 inches at the foot. As a semi-rectangular shaped bag, you would need to use a rectangular pad to complete the system. Big Agnes sleeping systems rely on the pad to provide insulation on the under side. With a mummy shaped pad, you would lose that insulating coverage.

Yes, this footprint will be compatible with the regular and tall versions of the tent.
