what is supposed to go into the holes on the sides of the griddle plate? How do you lift the plate up when it's hot? — 1 Answer

You could put some metal handles in if you would like. They do not come with such. You would use the two handles on the side with hot pads to lift it when hot. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
