Could skis be attached to the sidesof the pack to carry vertically? I'm wondering if this pack could be used for backcountry day tours because of it's light weight. Thanks, David — 2 Answers

You could probably attach skis A-frame style using the compression straps, but this pack is designed to be extremely lightweight (using thinner fabric) so it may not hold up to the abrasion resistance and durability needed to carry skis.

There are multiple gear attachment points for roll mat, walking poles axes etc, so I am sure you could attach skies to one of those. It would be a great pack for back country day trips!
