Could skis be attached to the sidesof the pack to carry vertically? I'm wondering if this pack could be used for backcountry day tours because of it's light weight. Thanks, David

There are multiple gear attachment points for roll mat, walking poles axes etc, so I am sure you could attach skies to one of those. It would be a great pack for back country day trips!

What is the recomended torso size for this pack?

The torso measurement of the pack itself (harness strap stitching to pack bottom) is 16 inches. Torso recommendation would be no more than 18 inches.
