The brushed polyester cover is not removable as it holds in pieces of light polyurethane foam. The tag suggests that the pillow is machine washable on a warm-gentle cycle with tumble drying as an option.

Yes this pillow is rather easy to wash when the item is placed on gentle cycle. The interior pillow is made of urethane foam.
