The design of the leather palm and precurve fingers restrict fully opening hand I used twice and already opened seam stitching Also the finger one one glove was crooked and did not fit properly would not recommend

The Baltoro glove is an excellent "puffy" glove; however, the sizing is a bit off. I usually wear a size Medium in Rab gloves. One of the reasons that I buy Rab is because their gloves fit me so well (fingers and thumb); however, it would appear that the insulation of this glove pushes into the volume area of the glove and makes it too tight all around for my hand (even the f... purchased for ice climbing. They deliver for intended purpose- long alpine routes, and warm gloves @ belays w/good feel.(after a couple outings)
Have tried leading in them...tools fine, screws fine, rope fine. I find them a little too bulky for rapid biner handling and real technical pitches.

I`ve used these as belaying gloves for ice climbing. The palm is a bit slippy for my taste, so you have to grab a rope really tight. As a general purpose glove they are very comforable, temperature-wise may be used down to -15 C when more or less static and probably down to -20-25 C when active.
I recieved these from Santa. The gauntlet is long and is easily tightend to keep wind/snow out. the sizing worksgreat for me, and I bought these on sale so the value was outstanding. the are warn enough for me when active in moderate winter temps.
