The Baltoro glove is an excellent "puffy" glove; however, the sizing is a bit off. I usually wear a size Medium in Rab gloves. One of the reasons that I buy Rab is because their gloves fit me so well (fingers and thumb); however, it would appear that the insulation of this glove pushes into the volume area of the glove and makes it too tight all around for my hand (even the finger felt too short). I don't buy OR gloves because the thumb is always too long for my hand. OR makes good gloves, but they just don't fit my hand well. I have exchanged the Baltoro size Mediums for a size Large. We shall see if those will work (yet TBD). Quality seems to be the usual Rab good quality.
In general, I use these gloves as my belay gloves or when just standing around when out ice climbing. I don't like a puffy glove to climb with, as it would force me to over-grip my tools; but, when I stop climbing, I need a good warm glove.
